TV and movies

Here is a picture at age 26 which I used on my resume for movie extra work which included TV movies such as the remaking of Vanishing Point to a series called Maloney, and also what is called industrials in the business such as Osco Drug and Bank One training videos.  As they say, don't quit your day job, because you can't expect to make a regular income.  The experience was interesting and fun though.

I have been fortunate enough to see a number of my suggestions make it into a TV series on the Sci-Fi channel called Startgate such as the super stargate, and sending pieces of a stargate through a stargate to be assembled into a stargate.  What was interesting here was that writers combined these two separate notions or submissions together.  This was a unique experience in life to be watching one of my favorite shows and see ideas such as this unfold in an ongoing story.

The Ori ship designs may have been influenced as well in this regard based on suggestions to use some form of Dyson’s sphere that held a singularity or star of some type to power the ship’s systems and a more powerful weapons platform.

There is also the episode where there are many parallel versions of Samantha Carter (Amanda Tapping) in the cafeteria.  My version was a little different in that it was just focused on her coming back from the future and they were all debating what the proper course of action should be taken to prevent some impending doom, where the ideas of one Samantha Carter was being dismissed by another after having already trying it and failing.  I don’t suppose anyone would have any idea why a guy would have notions about a room full of or many copies of Amanda Tapping running around, would you?  I’m sure it was a perfectly innocent thought;-)
